William N.'s Story
Its been one heck of a ride.... I spent most of my life working for the Primary Owners of the Oakland Raiders, Ed McGah Sr & Jr. (They hired Al Davis) The rest is history... After 34 years they've all passed on but I'm still kickin'.
I really don't want to talk about my three ex-wives and 7 children. I would rather focus on TODAY... I live in the foothills of the GOLD country and I'm loving it. Amador County has less than 35,000 residence.... So when I go to one of the many rivers or lakes I hardly ever run into another person. My Italian Sheep dog, Teddy Bear, and I have the place pretty much to ourselves. I fill my time working on our Class Reunions, I'm writing a book, playing darts, painting, writing poetry, and wondering where all the time goes.... not to mention "Now, why did I come in this room?" ha ha ha! I'm sure you've shared that experience. I joined several fraternal organizations; i.e. Elks, Masons, and IBS, but found they took too much of my time... So, I'm only a member of the IBS - Italian Benevolent Society. In case you never knew, I am Italian. My MOTHER'...Expand for more
s maiden name was Marinelli...she was Rudolph Valentino cousin.. so I guess that make me a cousin, too. I was born in the 'Little Italy' area of Erie, PA.... AnyWho, I can make pasta and sauce from scratch, Plus iron, sew, and cook anything... My MOTHER made sure all of us kids could do anything and/or everything by the time we were 9 years old. At 18, I became a Journeyman Meat Cutter, working at LoRay's and Safeway. At 19, it was 4 years in the USAF, I joined the service with Bill Will... GOD Bless him. I spent a good percentage of my service time at the Univ. of Mass... studying Boolean Algebra and high mathematics. I was on flying status and in the thick of it with Hi-Tech computer guidance systems. Holy cow.. I'm writing a book here... I'm sure none of this impresses you cuz believe me it doesn't mean squat today! ha ha ha! But the ride was fun, exciting and I enjoyed it the entire time. Thank you for reading my story! I hope to see you at our 55th Reunion in June 2012. I had to edit my story... you can't even say, Sh _ _ !
BE THERE OR BE SQURE.... I LOVE YOU GUYS!
